This format is more intimate and flexible than traditional karaoke because the pianist adapts to the singer, adjusting the rhythm and tone in real time. And while the pianist looks for the sheet music, the singer/master of ceremonies energizes the atmosphere, ensuring the energy never wanes by singing a hit song or eliminating any trace of stage fright if someone doesn’t know the song, supporting with backing vocals or the lead vocal so the guest feels part of the band.
The amateur artist(s) have their own discreet screen to read the lyrics, allowing them to sing while maintaining a connection with the pianist and the “audience,” and enabling everyone else to spontaneously join in the choruses.
