GENERAL QUESTIONS
CAN YOU PERFORM OUTSIDE SPAIN?
Our headquarters are in Barcelona, Madrid and Balearic Islands, so… yes! We can perform all around Spain and Europe.
We’ve served oysters on ships around the Mediterranean Sea, in Paris, Monaco… We’ve travelled to Portugal with Miss Caviar… and we’ve served cocktails and swing in Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Greece, Lebanon, Germany… In fact, one of our Pianobars is designed to travel by plane so we can reach anywhere.
CAN I COMBINE DIFFERENT SERVICES?
Sure! You can combine our different services in the same event.
RESERVATIONS
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I HAVE TO BOOK?
There is no exact time in advance to book any of the services. Ask us about the date and we will tell you if we are available. Some people love planning one year in advance and some other like to improvise.
HOW DO WE SECURE THE DATE?
To confirm the booking we ask for a pre-payment.
ABOUT DON OSTRA & MISS CAVIAR
WHAT DO YOU NEED FOR DON OSTRA/MISS CAVIAR’S SERVICE?
Both services are itinerant (we walk amongst the guests) so we just need a small area nearby to leave our items.
HOW LONG DO YOU NEED TO GET READY?
Both Miss Caviar and Don Ostra will arrive at the venue one hour prior to the beginning of the service. They get their materials ready… and off they go!
ABOUT PIANOBAR
HOW LONG IS THE PERFORMANCE?
The performance is usually 90’. We can play longer, do a pause… Let us know you needs and we’ll suggest an option that fits.
CAN YOU PLAY IN A CEREMONY?
Yes. Pianobar has a specific repertoire designed for ceremonies.
DO YOU HAVE NON-ALCOHOLIC COCKTAILS?
Yes, they are called mocktails… and we love them!
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PIANOBAR AND PIANOBAR ELECTRÓNICO?
In Pianobar electrónico we change the drums for a DJ that plays some beats (recorded in studio) and combines them with the live pianist, singer and saxo/trumpet.
I WANT MUSIC FOR A SEATED DINNER. WHAT FORMAT WOULD YOU RECOMMEND?
Pianobar Jazz Club is the best option if your guests are sitting down around tables. In addition, you have some liquors on the rocks for the after dinner!
I WANT THE MUSIC TO START WITH THE DESSERTS. WHAT FORMAT WOULD YOU RECOMMEND?
Pianobar Café with Espresso Martini is a great option.
CAN YOU CREATE A SPECIFIC LINE-UP FOR MY EVENT?
Sure! We love combining the members of our team. We can think of a double bass, second voices, a wind section… We will create something that fits the needs of your event, taking into account the team’s availability. Some of our musicians are multi-instrumentalists.
CAN WE DO SOME SONG REQUESTS?
We have a wide repertoire and the musicians in the band decide the songs in situ, reading the mood of the event. Requests are always welcome; we always double check with our musical director to see if they can be adapted and how.
