We are a cocktail catering and live music service where the musicians serve drinks and the bartenders play songs.
From the very first abandoned piano we found over 10 years ago right up to the present day, at Pianobar we continue to transform these beautiful instruments into hybrid pieces of furniture that blend music on the one hand and mixology on the other, like a mythological figure: half piano, half cocktail bar. Or should we say mixological figures?
Cocktails prepared to the beat complement the performance. Our musicians engage with guests, moving the cocktail shaker to the rhythm of the perfect Negroni, a spicy Moscow Mule or a delicious seasonal Daiquiri.
Piano, vocals and drums are our core sound. But we can also add a horn section, backing vocals and/or double bass… Total flexibility in terms of format, length and number of artists to create the perfect band for every occasion.
Our repertoire draws inspiration from Italian-American songs of the 1950s and includes romantic ballads, jazz standards, iconic blues numbers and unforgettable hits that get people of all ages dancing. We like to build the tempo and energy gradually, forging a bond between the band and the guests. This crescendo builds from the elegance of jazz right through to the greatest rock ’n’ roll hits.
Pianobar is perfect for drinks with friends or a launch party, a wedding reception, a boat trip or a corporate event. As our pianos are portable, we can go anywhere, crossing borders, event types and sizes.
