Don Ostra is one of those old sailors, like the ones you heard of in ancient legends… but with a naughty touch. It represents the original business, bringing the “hâut cuisine” closer to your guests in a relaxed and fascinating way.

Oysters are a highly appreciated delicacy with a great reputation: Don Ostra is the perfect complement for your cocktail or welcome drink.

How do they do it?

Our oystermen (and women!) will walk among the guests offering them the freshest oysters and checking their quality one by one. They can be savored raw or with one of our peculiar dressings.

Dressed for the occasion with a sailor outfit and an apron, they can tell tones of stories about this product and their possible seasonings.

These sailors are self-sufficient and all-road. Don Ostra arrives at the venue or event location bringing everything needed for the service. It can be easily added to any event.

The oysters

We open and serve oysters from the French Atlantic Ocean described as Huîtres Speciales. They are medium sized (nº3) and we bring them directly from Saint Malo (Bretagne). We work with local suppliers: Patrick from La Belle Huître and Thierry form Biomarisc.

The dressings

Try an oyster on the half shell first. Then we can add lemon juice, tabasco, ponzu, black pepper, raspberry vinaigrette, gin-tonic and/or bloody Mary
